I am looking at putting the suspension techniques 1.5'' springs or the eibach springs 1.2'' along with some konis. Will I need to get a camber kit and alignment if I drop the car 1.5 inches?

I just dropped mine 1" and my rears need it. I'd expect to get the kits. And aftermarket, wider, tires will straighten up the camber, but will also wear out your bushings over time due to the strain on the suspension. So, with stock wheels, get the kits put on and then add the Koni's.

I've got Eibachs and a boatload of audio equipment in the trunk. My front camber is just fine, and the back is barely tilted in. I have almost even tire wear on my 225/50/16 tires, so the camber can't be too far off at all.

you DO need to have it aligned after you change the springs and struts, but give it 3-4 weeks to let everything break-in and settle. Everything was still within specs on my car when I took it in, but it's still a good idea to have it checked.

But no, you won't need a camber kit on the front or rear, given your car has no frame damage from wrecks.

Thanks

Thanks for your help matt, although, does anyone know if I can get anything lower than the eibachs? As it is now, the only springs that I can find are the 1.2 drop eibachs. I would like a little more noticable 1.5 inch drop, but 1.2 should be fine if there is no other alternative. Also, would it matter if I got the Konis up front where it really matters and the KYBs in the rear ? This would save about 140 dollars.

go with the same brand all-around.. it's just "better that way"

remember the konis are adjustable and if you don't like the ride, you can change it.

suspension tech springs have a 1.5" drop and intrax have a 1.75" drop.

to be honest, I don't think you'll visually see much difference between the eibach and sus tech springs. I can't tell at all by looking at the cars.

dude, you probably won't "NEED" a camber kit, but they're not expensive at all, like 60 bucks for the front, and probably about the same for the rear. hondas are like 300 bucks for the good ones. at least i've seen kits that high, if i were you, i would do it right and buy a camber kit. also, when you look for camber kits, i'd make sure you look for the fully adjustable type. the kind with the slots in it, and you can dial in your camber. just my opinion though. the way i look at it, why lower it unless you're really gonna do it right.
