Interior lighting problems?
Interior lighting problems?
Hi guys, for a long time now I've had the problem of my interior lights not working. Replacing the Time Control Unit seemed to help most of you guys, so I did that, didn't help. I replaced the dimmer switch, didn't help.
I did find the problem now. It was the dimmer switch. The reason why the second switch went bad was simply cause the same wires were still crossed (i didn't see it
)
Anyway, I just wanted to inform you guys, if you ever have dimmer switch problems, you don't have to replace the entire dimmer switch, the part on the switch that blows is the light bulb, when the bulb goes bad, it doesn't complete the circuit and you have no interior lights. You can try getting a new bulb from courtesy. It twists off from the bottom of the dimmer switch.
Sorry if anyone had posted about the light bulb in the dimmer switch before.
take care.
