Does anyone know how to program the key pad on the door panel to open with out the key?

 

I think if you phone the dealer with the number that is printed on the door lock module (I'm not sure where it is), they will give you the code.

 

no. get the number off of the module (under the dash behind the glove box) and enter it into the key pad (hit start---farthest button to the left---then the number)

the door will beep and while it is beeping put in whatever you want to. I think it has to be 4 digits but dont quote me on that and I am not going to get my owners manual out to look...but I know 4 digits will work.


EDIT: if you have your owners manual it tells you how to change the code (in case my directions are confusing to you) but you have to have the number off of the module first.

 

awsm66 - i did that yesterday, now how do i get the windows to roll down???

 

all thats in the owners manual but if you dont have one hit start->enter code->hit wdw (5/6) button.

to pop trunk hit the trk (1/2) button after entering code.

and to lock the door hit the lock (9/0) button WITHOUT entering the code.
