nice layout..

i always had an idea of how it would look modifying the 3rd gen dash to look more slopey like the 4th and 5th; maybe it can be done.. 3rd gen dash design is nice otherwise i just hate how the center is flat

Thanx alot....

It's not a very long process the hardest thing to do is shape the panel and everything to line up right. Only had to cut like 3 things which was very minor. I get hook up on anyhting for mobile audio/video i actually got ths screen which retailed for $999.99 i got it for $250.00 brand new. And for the idea of the same kinda dash as 4th gen i can do it but it requires doing the center piece and molding the center console togethere (which i can do very easy) We drew it out it does not look like really with the dash shape... Keep posting...

Easy....

All u have to do is take your stock panel out, tape it off with painters tape (make it all flat no holes or anything. Start fiberglassing, then u measure and where u want stuff to go. PLEASE IF YOU DO NOT KNOW HOW TO FIBERGLASS AND USE BONDO, OR IF U HAVE NOT DONE ANYTHING LIKE THIS BEFORE I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT, IT IS MUCH HARDER THEN IT SEEMS. Thank you ask questions as u go if u want im glad to help or if u in fl im willing to do anythign custom. Thanx

Good idea, nice layout, although fit and finish isnt that great. Stuff looks warped (especially that glove box)...

It looks like heat molded (and warped) ABS plastic to me

Cover em in some color matching vinyl or work some more on the fit and finish and you're good to go though.

Ummm no

Its not plastic first of all. these pics are before i fixed the line on the top on the main console first of all. not heat wrappe, second the ps2 panel is not warped it is cuz the way i shot it. they are all perfect fit. all i had to do was make one adjustment on the one panel.

and....

Why vinal? or how ever u spell it, that stuff is so played out. plus did not want it to stick out or anything or have the chance of being scratched, So why do that when u can just texture spray it....

I said it LOOKS like ABS plastic. The ps2 panel could really use some work. What do you want me to like make a diagram of all the low/high/warped/non properly contoured spots? It's not the camera angle...

Vinyl played out? Vinyl is the first choice for anyone wanting a stock look and/or matching it up with stock panels. How is it 'played out'? I wasnt aware it was a fad. That's like saying cloth seats are played out...

Not busting your ***** dude and I like your idea and layout but it could use some 'final' work. That's all.

Looks like alot of work was put into it...

But the center console looks out of place. It does not flow with the stock interior or look like it. Maybe a different finish would be better.
