Hey, I have a 92 SE and am sick of the Bose stereo so it's time to change it out....I've already bought most everything, but the guy that owned the Max before me put a stock Nissan CD deck under the bose radio before i got it......so, to get to the point, what was originally in that second DIN spot? Cupholders or what? and also, does someone have a set of whatever was there i can buy from them?

yeah, underneath the headunit location was a little drawer that popped out with cupholders placed in it.....just a little storage compartment basically.... try courtesyparts.com to get a pair? I'm not exactly sure.

I recently did a little custom audio install there...which I will post pics of ASAP.

 

They also come with just a place to put cd's in, my spring was broken when I got the car, and it's not useful at all.
