Sup guys? Im thinking about doing the 194 bulbs swap. I wanna see some pics of bulbs and LEDs of different colors. Im guessing at least one of you has Amber or Red gauges, maybe some blues. Anyways, if you can post up pictures of what they look like at night Ill be your friend. lol

belive me get the 4 led light bulb in one from ebay.. its bright as heck. my camera doesnt work well in dark... but you can get the legist of it

I got some saphire blue leds behind mine. I swapped some SE gauges from DaMax into my GXE last week. Looks great, but I wish it was more of an even distribution of light. I got the LEDs with the 6 bulbs on them.

Any ideas?

 

ok so the bulb size behind the speedo and tach are 194s? and how many are there? please help i was about to do this swap and a local shop said they might 74s(not sure) but he said he could never find them b/c they stopped making them or something

UPDATE: OK, so I stop in Advanced Auto Parts and the only LED style bulbs they had was APC, yeah I know what you mean. Anyways, I was thinking, hell, they cant be that bad, and as long as I dont put a big APC sticker on my car, I shouldnt be laughed at too much. lol Anyways, I take off all the dash and all that, put in the 4 LEDs, re install, turn on my headlights, and the ****ers are like not even lighting my whole gauge. The speedo was only bright till like 30 mph lol ridiculous. These were Amber LED btw. So basically I took them back out, put in the stock bulbs without the condoms on them. Yeah they are yellow looking now, but at least they are bright. The only other 194's they have out there are 194LL's And im just guessing they are also yellowish since they are near OEM. So tomorrow Im gonna go back and ***** and ask them wtf is up. I would post pics but I didnt have my cam with me at the time, sorry. Im pretty sure I did everything right, should be plug and play. Give me some feedback though...
