There is a hose that is attached to the intake (left side), just before the throttle body chamber, that connects to the valve cover. While cleaning my intake I noticed inside this hose that there was something that looked like a pipe cleaner brush. I've also seen this on another Maxima. Is this like some filter or something? Any ideas? Just curious and thanks in advance!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!! I thought someone just broke a wire brush in the tube and was too lazy to get it out. But, I left it just in case it was done at the factory and I just forgot about it! I can hear the Nissan engineers now: " I think we can possibly achieve a gain of, oh 5hp, if we can somehow cram a wire brush inside the front valve cover hose to the intake." HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!
