2 answers for ya......

Cattmanperformance.com for the CAI, and it costs $220-30 or you can wait for the WSP version to comeout VERY soon with will be in the mid to high hundred dollar range. answer # 2, the y-pipe will make your car louder, as for Cali emissions I'm not sure(don't live there), but I know the Stillen 4th gen pipe doesn't pass emissions in Cali(at least thats what Stillen says)

Re: 2 answers for ya......

Cattman sells the CAI for $220-$230?? Is that including different colors or does that cost extra? I paid $180 shipped for my Blue CAI from Cattman.

Stillen's Y-pipe for the 4th gens is labeled "For Off-road Use Only" so I guess you could consider it not legal for street use. But the Y-pipe for the 3rd gens is pretty much legal for all states but I'm not sure about Cali. I know there are 3rd gens in Cali with Y-pipes.. so I'm guessing they are able to pass inspection somehow.

The CAI's are 220 now...price increase i guess...

the reason the 3rd gens y-pipes are legal is that we don't have any precats in our pipe...the 4th gens have precats making them "illegal" or for off road use only..

You can make one for around 70 to 90 dollars. i bought an adaptor from ebay for my 1990 max for $32 shipped. A local shop has a black flex air cleaner hose 4 inches in diameter ($21.00) that will fit over the adaptor which I will carry to behind the battery and through a hole into the wheel well. The only thing I am waiting for is the filter. i can't find a suitable filter that would fit on the 4" dia hose. Filter costs about $30.00. Total cost for me would be around 90 dollars. Hope this helps.

Yeh Unfortunately, the adaptor I got is that big. I will experiment with it and see how it works. i will be running that just from filter to Maf. Actually I found a filter that fits directly on the adaptor but it is open from the other side. If I can find one that is closed from one side I may be able to make a pop charger out of it. Let me know what you think. Also I think I have to disconnect the negative for a while to get computer reset.
