NOT AGAIN..please help if u can :(

well i think this is happening again..i was driving today at night when my parking lights went out (this includes inside gauges, sidemarkers, corners, and rear lamps) the only lights i had were my headlights, break lights and blinkers. the fuses to the lihts seemed ok but i am going to check again in the morining. WHat can this be!??!

As u might remember this thing happend to me before. Same lights went out, and within a month my ECU went out. It was fried. Once i put another ECU it started to work again.
I have a bad feeling that this is the same thing. My car starts a little different like before. It cranks different and soon it will take couple of tries to start it, until a point that it will not start agan(by this time the ECU is fried)
CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS!?!?!

well i was working on my car at night and what i touched some wires together and messed up my ground wire to the radio. SO i grounded the radio to the metal of the car. My radio doesnt have a dimmer but the plug has a wire for the dimmer, but i made sure that the dimmer wire is not touching anything. Once again please tell me what did u do to fix it.

cap off the dimmer wire and then check the fuses again, could have blown one out while you were isolating it....i just capped mine off and it worked fine.

It's the Timing Control Unit

what is wrong with your maxima is the Timing Control Unit. This happened to my friends Maxima and we basically had to take apart the whole dash and we couldn't find anything wrong with it. We ended up getting a new dash cluster and a lot of other stuff. The Timing Control Unit is a box and if you open up the box then you will see that a wire has been burt and is separated. If you want to get this part from the dealer it is over $100 but if you get it from a junk yard it is a lot cheaper. I hope this helps.

It's under the dashboard on the drivers side, you can get to it easily by either taking off the kickplate or just getting on your back underneath it... I know Craig B can answer better then I about what it does, all I did with it so far was cut the wire that leads to the ignition so that *damn* beep would go away
