newbie Question

Definatly not newbie to cars.....a 90 maxima kind of fell into my hands at about the right time...my turbo Si hatch needs some work so i got this car....umm ive noticed that the maxima with the VG engine has the same engine codes as a 300zx.....my question is will the turbos basically bolt up beside the fact the downpipes will have to go to one pipe.....i would get the turbo ecu....injectors..etc....is there anything else i might need if this were to bolt up..fuel pump..intake manifold??.......i know this thread has probably already been asked but it wont let me use the search option...or maybe im not doing it right anyway help me out guys this car cant stay factory for more than a month...thanks sorry its so long..

300ZX engine and tranny mounts straight
Maxima engine doesn't

if you're not new to cars then you can figure it out.
you're not driving a honda anymore.

swap 300zx motor and heads, use 300zx turbo manifold and rear manifold, make custom X-over pipe, use Maxima valve covers, use Maxima injectors(to a certain point of course), use Maxima fuel rail, use Maxima intake manifold and TB elbow, custom dowpipe and charge pipes. if you've turbo'd an SI than setting up the fuel system is pretty much the same high flow pump, a method of fuel/ignition control(JWT ECU or some other sort)

BTW prepare to stay factory for longer than a month because this ISN'T an easy task
