yeah I thought you were getting a blue VE 5spd.
I did this to my 92 and I drilled out the vin and swapped them. I didnt have a pop rivet gun at the time so I just put screws with lock nuts on the other side in there so it wouldnt come out.
I had the brown and tan interior in the 92 and I like the tan but didnt like the look of the brown dash or door panels. Now its black on black/grey.

what do you guys think is the best interior that was offered in the 3rd gen? I have the grey and black tweed (or whateverit's called). I would say either what I have or the leather. but if it's original the leather cracks and fades, plus leather gets hot in the summer and it burns your ars or if it's cold out it's cold on your ars. and I like the look of the grey and black. what do you guys think?

If we could search, I would show you the post on my swap. I also had a maroon interior, whihc I swapped for a tan interior. I was at a junkyard one day, and found this car with a PERFECT interior, yet no front end. They had just recieved it that day. I bought the whole interior for 100 bucks, and it look my 6 hours to remove. Or course the interior needed cleaning, so I had it all cleaned in my front yard.
I drove around for a week without a dash, carpet, etc, just my old seat that wasn't even bolted down. It took me about 2 days to put the new interior in. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be, and I was VERY happy with the result. I think that tan is the best interior. Black is just too dark for my personality. It depresses me. Tan makes me feel good
I have some pics here: http://mywebpages.comcast.net/rbloedow/ my max is in pictures dscf0065.jpg to dscf0074.jpg. Unfortunatly, my control arms started deteriorating, and my transmission started slipping, so I couldn't keep her I bought the 200sx that you can in the link.
Edit: I have that seat cover because at the time I used to work for a pizza joint, and I didn't want my seat to get dirty.
