I got a rather interesting question....

I finally got my car back not too long ago, after having to save up to get a new (well, rebuilt anyway) engine, and I took the car out on the road yesterday. When I pushed the cruise control button to turn the cruise control on, the only thing that happened is that the green 'cruise' light kept blinking fast. I couldn't get the speed to set at all. I was wondering if anyone knew what might be going on there? I checked the fuses, and eliminated that as a possible problem, and did a cursory visual check to see if maybe something might be disconnected, but NADA.

Any insight would be helpful and appreciated.

 

did it work before the rebuild if so mabey you can get it fixed for free?

 

Can't say that it worked for sure before the rebuild, because when I bought the car, it needed an engine rebuild (i.e., not running). Now what???

 

I dont know mabey take in to the shop mabey they can tell you if they run a more thoro test
