Easy/Cheap Mods

A friend and myself recently found a 1990 SE that we'd like to do some mods on. I'm looking for any ideas on cheap and/or EASY mods that can be done.

Thanks!

Thanks!
Not trying to be an jerk, but if neither of you are literate on cars, don't mess with it! Take the time to educate yourself first before you accidentally make a costly mistake. You could begin by purchasing a Haynes and a Chilton's manual at the local parts store. If you are serious about learning, invest in a Factory Service Manual. You can find those on e-bay.

intake exhaust and an underdrive pully would be the easiest and most entry level mods but like stated in the above post if you dont know what any of these are you should do some reading before you dive in because even these require some basic knowledge of car parts you can proboly find write ups on this site or bur searching google

From: Houston
advancing timing = free
clear corners = ~ 30-40 bucks, cheaper on ebay
generic cone intake = 20 bucks
stickers and exhaust tips = depends on how much gain you want

you won't gain anything drastic, but you will by re-tightning the cables, that improviong throttle response. over time the tightness of the cable loosens and the throttle cable "sags", tighten the cables up and theres no sag anymore.
