I've got two 12's in my trunk and the box fits fine, but I don't have a cylinder bolted in the floor. I have no idea what it could be, but I'm pretty sure someone on here can let you know.

My box was slightly to big to fit under the speakers... But I found that it's a really insignifigant amount. If you take out the carpet, it might fit. I did that first, thought for a moment, and just held down the carpet as I wedged the sub under. It's a really tight fit, and is going to be a little trouble when I want to get the spare out, but it works fairly well...

Mine is slightly wider then maximans.... it's a single ported 12". I have a 5 channel fosgate amp, and it only provides ~150w to the sub, but even 1/2 way up, it's enough for me. All the way, and there's too much ringing in the ears.. (1/2 up on HU)

I've got a box with two 12"s with two amps on top and my xm tuner on the side of the box, with plenty of room for the 6x9s. I have my box braced in, so it doesn't slide around, because the amps would touch my 6x9s if the box slid too much.

What is that cyl. thing used for?? I haven't removed mine because I thought it would mess something up(I thought it was there for a reason.....for what reason I dunno).
