Greased Lightning Auto treatment question

My car's tranny is slipping and probably will be dead soon. I bought Greased Lightning Automatic Transmission Treatment Synthetic Formula. It says it's compatible with all transmission and power steering fluids.

I'm not expecting a miracle, but maybe to buy a little time with my tranny.

Has anyone used it? Does it work at all?

Should I pour it into my auto transmission fluid or the power steering pump? (it says I can do either)

ummm,
1. if you're having problems with your transmission, then pouring it into your power steering system isn't going to do jack.
2. If your tranny is going out, adding gunk to the fluids is not going to help it any. get it fixed properly and don't worry about it.

in addition, some people have had slipping trannies and when they went ahead to change the atf/mtf, the tranny "fell apart" on them cos the the gunk and stuff was probably holding it together. save up the cash and tide it out till youre ready to get a new one or rebuilt.

Would you recommend a rebuild on a 92 SE transmission? It seems like they just fall apart again. Mine only has 76,000 miles on it.

if you get it rebuilt by a good shop, you'll be fine. the problem is most people go for the cheapest shop they can find. there's a reason they're so cheap.
