Usually all SE models came with fog lights. If you have the switch most likely they were there once.

i believe it was standard for the SE and i think it was an option for the GXE cuz when i got my GXE it had all the wiring and harness for the factory fogs but it never came with fogs and it didn't have the switch and relay. so i had to buy the switch and relay and the fogs i got them for free.

So since I have the switch and the wiring is down there somewhere, could I wire aftermarket foglights into that space if they were the same wattage? sorry if this is a stupid question, thanks for all the help

Should be able too. That's what I did even though I already had the exsisting old SE foglights there. Just took them off and wired up the new ones. At the time of the pic I had the normal 55watt bulbs in the fogs and a little bit higher wattage headlight bulbs but now I have some H3 100watt bulbs in the Fogs and 80/100 headlight bulbs and the rewiring that craig showed me of the corner lights with xenon's in there and now it looks really good. Got to get some pix at night now up.

My fog lights down there in the bumper only function as hazard lights, and I have no button to on my dash. Is there some way to wire them so that they're on when my headlights are on?

it sounds to me like you are actually talking about your hazard lights, or turn signals. they are in the bumper and are long...
that's what it sounds like anyway...if so, you don't have fogs, get some aftermarket or stock ones...i'd suggest bolting in aftermarket, mine got stollen only screwed on...

you could wire them into your headlights, or parking lights for that matter. or if you wanted i guess you could put your own switch on them. i'm pretty sure people have wired them to their headlights, i was thinking of doing it once and remember seeing threads about it...if you search you might find how to do it, basically just tap the hazard light power into the headlight power...

uh no you cant use turn signals (hazards) as fog lights. They will not put out the light needed to make them fog lights. If you want fog lights buy some and put them under the bumper where they belong.

You can however hook them up where they are on when the lights are on like noleafclover said but thats not making them fog lights.

Also, Fog lights need to be at a lower position than the signal lights in the bumber. If not your going to look like a Jeep Wrangler or something. You might as well get a brush guard and a lift kit.
