Question About Viper alarm

yesterday i was trying to figure out why the yellow security light in my guage cluster never came on/blinked. so i opened the panel below the steering wheel and i found a complete Viper Alarm system in there...(by the previous owner?)...that explains the black speaker hidden away under the hood

anyhow...i was wondering if i can get a remote for the alarm system and be able to use it....it is completely functional but a few wires are disconnected so the car runs without it. i need a remote to make it work.

Do they sell the remote ONLY? IF yes, where can i get the remote key for it? is Viper any good at all?

otherwise i will have to take the whole system out, which i dont mind either. any recommendations would be appreciated.

viper alarm

I have had 2 cars with viper alarms they are very good. You just need to go to a place that sells Viper and have the wires hooked back up and get 2 or 3 remotes. Price them first on the phone call a few places that sell vipor. The system automatically locks your doors and turns the alarm when you leave the car. Sometimes with your keys inside the car. So you might want to have a spare key in your wallet when that happens, like at the car wash and the car is in there and suddenly the doors lock with the keys inside and then the alarm goes off as it goes through the car wash. Good system to have never lost a car with a vipor.
