Engine Bay Pictures

I just wanted to know what is the best product that you can you to clean your engine bay. I've heard that simple green gets the job done but would like more opinions and pictures on this. By the way if you do clean it with a product, the only steps you have to take is cover the battery and the air filter with a bag so that they don't get wet. Is this the only thing you have to do? And when you clean the engine bay with water, does it mess up anything? will oil come out with Simple Green? Can you use a regular hose to clean it out? thanks guys.

Just go to the carwash, use the engine cleaner. Then spray tire foam over the engine and wipe it down. Works like a charm. This is what our club does before shows.

Yeah... and that's what I do to MY engine too. Take a look at my website and you'll see.

Might wanna cover the starter motor. One time i was just washing the car and just put water over the engine to get some dirt out. I've done it a million times but this time after I washed it I took it for a spin around the block and it kinda was sputtering. Then it wouldn't start up. I had to pay $300 for a new starter motor. Just thought I would throw that ou there.
