im thinking of doing the same, but one question, how do you mount it if there are no clamps on the muffler. and are those mufflers supposed to go up near the cat, or can they also work as a tailpipe?

Muffler shop will fab the mounts for you, and mounting location depends on application. So for us it will go where our mufflers are right now.

i personally like the way the 80 series sounds on V6s... and i wonder how it would sound bolted straight to the y pipe with a turndown on it. probably get a few too many fumes in the car but anyone heard or that being done? i think that would look tight with no muffler anything showing from the rear.
