Me and subs1000watts (matt) have finally got the first and so far hardest step of the swap. Which we finally found a 5 speed from a local junk yard. We bid on ebay but we lost. But if anybody has any tips that would help.

i have couple questions since the search isnt working. First has anybody tried the shifter linkage, clutch pedal, and master cylinder work from a second gen max. Also does the cutch and fly wheel work from the second gen. Finally are tranny mounts the same or do i have to get third gen mounts. thanx

 

you might want to post on the 2nd gen forum too, since one or two have done a 3rd gen tranny swap. also call up some junkyards, they'll know.
