Help on cracked Y-Pipe..PLZ!!!

Help on cracked Y-Pipe..PLZ!!!

ok here is the problem...

yesterday i received a WSP y-pipe from DA-MAX and i got it cracked..well more like a hair line crack but i'm thinkin' this will screw my Max more....but then i was thinkin' if i weld up that crack and is that goin' 2 hold it or make it worst then it is????

so fellow 3rd gen members PLZ help me out by answerin' this question???

can the crack be welded and it will be fine????

1st wheres it cracked but more than likely welding it up should be fine

ok the crack is located near the 2nd pipe or back pipe...and on top...the crack is like 2 inches....

a hairline crack two inches long can EASILY be welded, perhaps 15 seconds. if you were in chicago i would do it for you

thanx 4 the offer but i'm goin' 2 do it at work.....

cool thanx 4 the help guys.....i was scared that it wouldn't work......
one more thing.......and i can't remember if there is any gaskets 4 the flanges of the y-pipe and cat?????

yes probobly have to get the y pipe to manifold gaskets at the dealer since they are crush rings but the y pipe to cat is just a normal gasket you can get at any auto parts store

I got a set of the crush rings from autozone a while back for the 90 I had.

cool thanx 4 the info......well 2day i got the y-pipe weled at work and my friend did a great job on it..... so 2morrow morning goin' 2 the shop and install the y-pipe on and c how it sounds
