i just started a new project. im putting city lights in my high beam bwm lenses and im peel and sealing under the carpet. o yea and my city light are hooked up to where my old bose amps used to get power so they shut off with stereo, i also have them on a swith so that the cops dont bulb over cause there blue..

question is supposed to be a place where 8 gauge wire can be ran im in the process of looking for that and also. under the dash it goes fire wall\padding\rubber\carpet well my rubber is cracked dryed out and falling apart will it make a difference if pull it all out?

I just drilled a hole through my firewall, very narrow space to work in, another place i noticed is on the passenger side firewall, just below the glovebox, there was enough room for my 4 gauge so there should definitely be for your 8 gauge. I'd leave the firewall padding in even if it is dry and cracking.
