Brake light and 1 Touch window

Alright I tried posting this last time and it didn't work let me give it another try.

I have a 90 maxima and when I push the 1 touch button for my window to go all the way down with just 1 touch it doesnt work. It goes down a bit and a bit at a time? AND for some reason my emergency brake light (ON THE DASH) stays on WHILE I'm driving and the emergency brake is completley down? Thanks ahead of time

brake light on the dash means either ebrake is on OR your brake fluid is low
check it out soon and fill it up to the MAX line if it needs some fluid. do that ASAP because you dont want to completely drain the tank

My 1 touch switch is also acting up.. One touch moves the window for 2 seconds, then stops.. any one know what exactly controls the time the switch activates for? and if its fixable, or needs replacing..

Any help greatly appreciated!

Re: Brake light and 1 Touch window

The brake light comes on because the reservoir is low, which is usually an indication that your pads are also worn to a point that requires replacement. Of course you could just fill the reservoir and wait for the squealing noise from the pad indicator. However, if it was my car, I would pull the wheels and check the pad thickness.
