hard braking

this isn't really a problem but it's been on my mind for awhile. i've driven three cars in my 4 years of driving. a pos 90 CRX, a 94 accord and now my 89 max.

i remember on my two previous cars, if i brake hard enough i can get the tires to lock up. can't seem to do that with my max though. upgrades to the brakes include axxis metal pads new oem rotors.

anyone else having this "problem?"
