ABS Hydraulic Unit

My ABS Hydraulic unit seems to be leaking break fluid when you push hard on the pettle. Is there anyway way to repair the seal or do I have to replace the whole thing (the part looks like it is about $600). Let me know if anyone has any information on this. Thanks

Re: ABS Hydraulic Unit

You can not rebuild this unit. I had the same problem and picked up a used one from the salvage yard from $25 bucks(pulled the part myself, hence the low cost). My point is look around because some yards want $200-400 and a brand new one is about $1200. Until you find one, continue to fill the reservoir. Would hate to crash the ride!!!
