Maxima 89-99 High Flow Racing Intake Kit??????

Is this as good as a K&N panel filter, better or is it worse?

I have the panel K&N with the a cut out airbox but I want some more sound. This any better?? Thanks!

both will work fine, but I'd be weary of both of the MAF adapters. they look like the suspect square ones that don't fit right.

make sure they fit I got hosed on one of those things too. I ordered just an adapter and it didn't fit. I just got a place racing catalog today and they have an adapter for the third gens. It is like 26 bucks. you should look with them.

on the 2nd one... the ad says retail price $199 thats bs you can go down to autozone and get the same exact thing with a better looking maf adapter for like 20-30 bucks

you sure Autozone sells MAF adapters? i went to 3 near my house and non of them sold any MAF adapters.

not exactly autozone, local autoparts by me i think advanced auto. they had//have some what universal cone kits for 20-30 dollars. went up asked the clerk if it came with maf adapter, sure enough it did and fit just right i can take pics if you wish

not on max but similar situation. when buying the knockoff brand filters the biggest problem i see/hear is a whistling noise from the pop charger style filters because it is a cheap paper like material and even from the inside of the car it can be heard.

umm...that's kinda normal...

the extra growl/whistle is just the air rushing into the filter. but be sure the seal between the filter, adapter, and maf are airtight

Yeah, even with my Injen during partial throttle I notice a whistle, it is normal.

yeah they send u pretyt cheap filters i donno if there is another comparable filter to the original k&N 's which usually dont have those problems.
