Maxima 89-99 High Flow Racing Intake Kit??????
Is this as good as a K&N panel filter, better or is it worse?
I have the panel K&N with the a cut out airbox but I want some more sound. This any better?? Thanks!

make sure they fit I got hosed on one of those things too. I ordered just an adapter and it didn't fit. I just got a place racing catalog today and they have an adapter for the third gens. It is like 26 bucks. you should look with them.

not exactly autozone, local autoparts by me i think advanced auto. they had//have some what universal cone kits for 20-30 dollars. went up asked the clerk if it came with maf adapter, sure enough it did and fit just right i can take pics if you wish

not on max but similar situation. when buying the knockoff brand filters the biggest problem i see/hear is a whistling noise from the pop charger style filters because it is a cheap paper like material and even from the inside of the car it can be heard.

the extra growl/whistle is just the air rushing into the filter. but be sure the seal between the filter, adapter, and maf are airtight
