PCV valve

PCV valve

could someone tell me where it is and what it looks like on a 91 maxima?

look to the upper right of the intake manifold.
hose w/ a clamp on it.
there's a fitting that sticks out...dark gray...prob rusty if it's old.

i believe 17 or 19 mm wrench. the metal piece that unbolts is the PCV.

hose goes from the rear valve cover to the intake manifold. just remember that the piece is 10 + yrs old and will more than likely crack off(like mine did, when i tried to replace it) the hose was 9 bucks from nissan. its supposed to be rubber, the one that was on the car felt like plastic!

It's a 3/4. Spray it down with WD-40 if its rusted, they will break so just take caution.

I'm pretty sure it's 19mm

3/4" = 19.05mm so 3/4 standard size should also work

all i know is its a biiatch to replace due to the lack of space...at least it is on the ve...and make sure you get the right one for the right car....maybe i should say make sure you get it from nissan cause i bought one from autozone and it was nothing like the oem one!!

actually VG is REALLY easy, it's right on top of the manifold (like where our EGR valve is)
VE is much more of a hassle since it's on the backside of the manifold, way down there
