to leather or not to leather?
to leather or not to leather?
I have an opportunity to pick up a black/gray leather interior for my max this weekend, it's in good shape, but so is my cloth, which should I go with? Opinions? Experience? thanks

Keep in mind leather requires more care
With the cloth seats maybe a little scotch gaurd and weekly vacuuming is all it takes to keep the cloth fibers nice a loose and looking clean. With the leather there's definately more care required to keep it looking good. Besides the leather from the 3rd gen must have been made from the cow's aas because it's so hard. Several years back I swap out my cloth seats for leather and I was extremely happy with a swap. Untill months later when I realized what's required to maintain the seats. Living in hot/cold climates doesn't help the situation. When it's cold the seats are rock hard, when it's hot the seats can peel the skin off your body. Of course this is coming from a owner without tints, but you get what I'm tryin to say. For everyday daily driving the cloth seats were more comfortable, but the look of leather is always pleasing. I have pics of the seat in my homepage. Choose wisely.
