Basic upgrades

Looking to upgrade a 93 MAX HJ30 VG30E without spending more than the cars net value. Any advice on the exhaust, intake, ignition, and front end would be greatly appreciated.

Exhaust- WSP y-pipe and high-flow cat., Greddy cat-back exhaust system ( if you've got the money? )

Intake- you can either go with a K&N air intake cone filter or there are a few cold air intakes out there

I really don't know of any good ignition upgrades and I'm not sure on what advice you need for front end? Do you mean is there anything else you can do to make it faster in the front or do you want a bodykit or what?

Thanks. I just can't believe what these companies want for basic parts (I just bought a full dual exhaust for my F150 from the headers back for $148). From what I've seen for the MAX it's $640 for a muffler and 2 pipes, not even the cat is included. Whats that a nearly %1000 markup? Can't be more than $80 in material. Front end I mean the front end linkage etc, it's getting a bit sloppy in it's old age and I thought rather than factory stock I'd see if someone made upgraded sways bar, ball joints etc.
