resolder all the connections. whether they look bad or no, they probably are in a few places.

I might be retarded, but where is the door lock timer? I haven't had the energy to work on my car for the past three days so I haven't been able to check. Haven't even made it outta bed

it's in the driver's kick panel to the right of the steering column in a black box, held in by 2 screws. i believe it has two harness going into it.

I think on some of them they are not there. I went to my neighbors 91 SE thinking it would be there and it wasn't but his door locks worked and I was thinking it was located somewhere else. On my 92 it was right there on the ride side of the steering column.

one of the connector pins had very little solder on it. but i used a dmm and there was a connection through it..but i resoldered it anyway

then I heated up all the solder on the bottom and let it redry

not working, can't see anything wrong with it, broken, nothing. looks fine. but i have that problem where i press the locks and i hear the click behind the dash, yet the locks don't work.

once i get through with putting car in the shop due to being rear ended (see my othe rthread) i might send it to to you..i checked nissan awhile back adn they said 113 for a new one!!

use a solder sucker or some solder wick to remove all of the old solder first, THEN re-flow all the solder onto the joints. I haven't had a single one need more than that yet. I've replaced the capacitors and some other stuff in them just to be safe, but they've never needed it.
