Ive got 2 questions.

First: Was there ever a stock keyless entry sold on any of the 3rd gen maximas and can I put it on mine.

Second: has anyone ever made the middle panel of there max light up? I would like to see pics.

 

1. Kinda...not remote but all the GXEs came with a keypad on the door that you could punch your code in and unlock the door, open the trunk and roll down the windows. You might could swap out the door handle and all the electronics to get it to work but thats way too much trouble. Might as well just buy an aftermarket keyless entry system or an alarm.

2. Probably but I havent seen one.

 

the keypad also opens ur sunroof if the car is equipped with sunroof. to swap and do all that work is not worth it at all. just get an aftermarket alarm. doin' the swap requires alot of time and patience.
