Just about a race I had with a 97+ prelude (I won), but look what happens when out dear friend Russ shows up.
Thought some of his posts might be good for a laugh. especially you VE owners.

You better believe that I am going to the track this spring while I am still stock to get a timeslip. I will set my timing at base and take out my k&n panel(like that adds anything) to see -- no excuses -- what my stock 3rd gen VE 5sp will actually run. There is no way to debate which max is faster unless there is actual timeslips to back it up.

What I found funny was the 0-60 ties in a quote he posted..

supposedly from an automotive journal of some time.
it had the 94se 5spd a 9.0 sec 0-60 and the auto at 10.5 sec 0-60. wtf?!?

Russ is a moron when it comes to cars, period.
Yeah, I know him fairly well too.. I've hung out with him a few times when we were in dallas, and I've heard the **** he says in public too..

who else can go through 6 cars in 3 years and think it's the right thing to do?

Well at least he is only the second person I now regret defending on various BBS's, the first of which was a special someone on the 3rd gen board.
I need to just shut up and let others make asses out of themselve BEFORE I assume they are ok people!
