My Maxima has a annoying jerk when it shifts. From what I can tell, only from first to second. It's an automatic transmition. Also when I try to pick up some high speed from a slow start or from standing still, it just idles until you release the gas and let it find a gear. I'm guessing this is a tranny problem but I don't know for sure. Besides these two problems, the car in great. I would hate to get rid of the car or dump a lot of money into it. Times are rough now a days.
-If anybody has some good advise, it would be seriously appreciated.

take it to a tranny shop and have them drive it around the block for a once over, see what they say.
