Some pics and vids of N.E. Max Meet

It was pretty steamy out, but we all had fun. There must have been close to 100 maxs.

Enjoy!

O yeah, thats Izzys (crazyformaxima's) engine bay

Maybe he'll clean it now.

It was great meet. I think i'm gonna have to come up to another NJ/NY meet one day. There are more 3rd Gen owners up there. I'm like one of 4 left in the DC area.

Izzy, your car can't get detailed b/c it needs to be pressure washed first.

what i did.. cover EVERY electircal component/wire harness you see (ie ign coils etc) with pieces of plastic + rubber band it around the harness...and soak the engine down with carb cleaner then power wash it off

when i do my engine again this summer im gonna do a better job and remove the valve covr, plenum, etc and clean individually

Maximaman, What is the color you posted in this picture? Do you know what it's called?

Probably one of the best Max colors I have seen.

How did you get that engine so clean. I tried cleaning mine with the simple green and it did a pretty good job, but it started eating away at the V6 3000 tag.
