Hi guys, today and yesterday, something weird happened to my Max, a 93 SE 5 spd. I left work and went to start the car, and it didn't want to start. It turned over and over for a good few minutes but wouldn't start. Almost like it was flooded. After a few cranks and no start, I held the gas pedal to the floor for a few seconds, and it finally kicked over and in my rear view mirror, there was a cloud of blue smoke and I could smell gas...... The same thing happened today. Can anyone help me on this? Any ideas? I'm mechanically illiterate. Thanks so much for any help.

you are burning oil if there is blue smoke. you may have some fouled out plugs. If you don't know much about cars then take it somewhere and get the compression checked. Before that look at the spark plugs and see if they are black.
