O2 sensor replacement

O2 sensor replacement

hey, i jus need to know how to replace my O2 sensor... sny help is appreciated... thanks

located on y-pipe on passenger side. jack up car, place on stands.

remove negative terminal of battery.

detach electrical connector and remove sensor.

put anti-seize lubricant on threads of new sensor and install.

replace negative terminal.

drive away happy.

1990 FSM says don't use regular anti-seize compound because it could electrically insulate the O2 sensor. FSM says use "nickel based anti-seize compount". Comments on this?
