Tire Size for 16" Rims.

If I get the 16" 5 Spoke Maxima Rims from a 2001 what is the best tire size I should get. I don't know anything about Tires. I want them to look good and also help with acceleration and handling, so whats the best?

Bah, go with at least a 225 width tire. I have been running 225 width tires on my stock rims for the past 2.5 years. So you should be fine.

I am running Kuhmo Ecsta 225/50-16 on mine and the ride decent, grip decent in wet and dry and cost about $55 each. They also work well with my 1.5" drop.

i will second the motion with shoult, mostly: 225/50 (or 55)-ZR16. lo-pros do look best with the car dropped, however. so save more clams. otherwise the fender gap can be hard on the eyes.

Mine is dropped and I had 225/50 before and now I put 215/55 and it looks much better and handles just as good, must be the tires....these things are awesome (Bridgestone Potenza RE950's).

Im runnin 225/50 R16 Yokohama AVS ES100's and they are damn sticky, and look very good. I'm not dropped either. Whatever you do, dont go with 225/55 r16!
