OK. my car has been having crap for low end lately. it would bog until about 3200 rpm and then it would kick ***. so im thinkin it was the knock sensor. ok. yesterday i changed my knock sensor and today was the first time i drove it. it is different. the low end is barely better but it doesnt kick in anymore at that 3200 point. it just gradually gets to redline. so im wondering what is wrong?? i did a 55 code which is nothing. did i do something wrong hookin every thing back up??? cause the last thing i wanted was to make my car slower after all that labor. any help is appreciated!! thank you in advance. speaking of advance. i had my timing advanced but i pulled it back to stock, but it didnt help anyways. thanks

 

i could be alot of things... are u geting bad gas mileage.. is ur car running rich?
does it start good?

 

i know, im sorry, i know it could be a lot of things. my gas milage hasnt been too bad. sometimes i smell gas in the engine bay. im thinking i messed up an injector or something. but what are your thoughts?

 

do you see black/carbon like smoke comming form the exaust?
smell your exaust.. does it smell rich of fuel?

This is a dumb question, but what would happen if i continuously switch from Neutral to Drive while driving on a automatic.

I need to know fast because i did it and my engine smoked up. I tryed to save gas. WHAT WAS I THINK ?!?!

 

well a little more driving and my friend said my car smells like gas when i drive. i noticed the gauge to go down a little more too. but all in all i think the power came back. maybe it was just a break in period, but my low end is still not soo good. anyways lemme know what cha think. all the fuel lines were replaced and they are not leaking so do you think i messed something up with the injectors when puting them back on??? thanks

 

yea, i didnt see anything out the exhaust but it did smell kinda rich what ya think??
