18 wont be too big at all. I got 18s on my max and they dont look to big,it looks just right. Then again that might just be my opinion.

get the 18s. That's the first thing on my list for spring modding. It'ss hard finding a simple five spoke wheel though

Personally I think 18's are too large. The pics you guys supplied look good, but they are angled shots. I think a straight on side shot makes 18's look way too big. I would probably get 17's, but maybe 18's would grow on me, I dunno

And Chris, your car is so ridiculously awesome that it's not even funny

Edit - The 18's do look good on chris's car because he has a body kit which makes the car look bigger, so the wheels are in proportion with the car, but I think without a body kit, the 18's look too big for the car(especially side view shots)

it depends on the wheel type too. I have 17" r6s and they look like 18s and if you look at probmxstyle's wheels (same as mine) that are 18s they look like 19s.

the wheels that have a very small lip and the spoke goes all the way to the lip like ours always look bigger.

the wheels where the spoke stops and the wheel has a lip (like Chris') will look smaller or what you would think is the right size.

none of this may make sense to anyone else but thats the way I see it lol.

w/o kit

w/ kit

it comes down to personal preference and the type of rim like michael said. 17" subzeros look small to me but the 18's w/ the polished lip make the rim look true. i think if i didn't have the polished lip they'd look like 17's...

Ok maybe I was wrong, those rims look proportioned to the car with or without the body kit. I guess it's the style of the rims though. I think it was the side view of probmxstyle's car where the rims looked too big for me(no offense or anything dude, they still look great).
