adding door key pads

adding door key pads

to add a door key pad to a se do all u need the the door handle or is there some eltronic u need?

i know that the gxe door handle (with keys) will swap right into the se door. getting it in there is the easy part.

pretty sure you will need a gxe door harness at the very least, and the module that the keypad sends information to. if you are a electrical genius (like craig) then you may be able to wire something up....

before you decide to wire anything tho, make sure you take a long look at the wiring diagram in the service manual. actually, i think just a 30 second glance is all you need.. because you will realize that it is way to complex.

one of my projects came to a halt once i saw the mess behind there. good luck.
