shifter bushing

shifter bushing

some people have mentioned a shifter bushing for their automatics...where do i get one for my 92 gxe, and how much should i pay for it?

how many are there? are they hard to change? what does it involve?

i posted this on the last bushing thread...There is one below the car directly under the shifter...this is the one that usually gets worn out. To change this one you have to jack the car up and take the heat shield above the cat. converter off. Its not hard at all.

the other bushing is on the transmission. To do it you have to look where the cable goes to the trans and swap it out...You have to take the bottom plastic splash shield off to get to it...again not hard at all.
