95+Motor fit in 3rd gen?

Please don't refer me to the search page, I have searched and found nada concerning this matter. I have a 92 VE and have all the typical problems it seems, VTC's and broken manifold studs, oil leaks, power loss. I was wondering can you swap the motor and ECU from a 95+. Will it bolt up to the stock VE tranny? If not is it possible to do the full swap with little modification to motor mounts, etc. If the 95+ is not an option how bout an SR20? I know I sound stupid but I'm used to Hondas and you can put just about any motor combo in these car no problem. Please help if you can.

the VE has alot of potential anyways, jus "fix" your problems and do some modding and you should be happy with the end result

I think you will need custom mounting locations because the 4th and 3rd gen are differant. I am almost positive. Plus I think the tranny bolt pattern is differant

It'd be interesting if somebody could find a non-rebuildable front cut of a 222hp or newer Max with time and money to fab up the job. Then write it all up for a FAQ.

This is how it's been approached in the other car forums I'm in.
