Has anyone upgraded their cv shafts? Where did you get them?
How do I tell if I have a locking differential and non-locking?
I have a 1992 SE w/auto & no abs. I can get a standard rebuilt cv shaft at my local parts store for $69.96 + 75 core charge.
Thanks!

Supposedly the stock shafts can handle 300hp or so. So if you dont plan on doing a t-bo project just get the rebuilt shaft.
buy a service manual and it'll tell you how to determine your tranny type.
as for the axles, you shouldn't have to mess with "high performance" axles unless you're turbo or a big shot of NOS.
I auto X my car regularly and beat the living !#@$)*(!% out of it when I'm not on the track, and the only thing I've messed up is boots.. the axles have always held up.
