I really will order one in two more days.

That should mean we just need 7 more.

I have the money for my new driver's side CV shaft and this guage pod budgeted out.

I will PayPal the money over as soon as my paycheck hits my account.

what color are they unpainted?

i think i'm just going to get one and if the 60 mm doesn't fit I'll either sell it or deal with it and get some other gauges. I don't want to miss out on this.

OK, I see the other 8 have hit e-bay...

Since the other 8 hit e-bay I will place my order through them instead of pay-paling to you directly. I will place my order today.

OK, done deal, I'm in.

Looks like Kaleb has a bid in too. guess that means only 6 more need to be found!

[edit]
I'm gonna go tell some other 3rd genners I know of. See if I can generate any more traffic for the auction.

Kevin, do I just send you the money now or do I have to wait for the end of the auction?

OK, if it doesn't make things any harder on you I am going to pay by the end of the auction. I just took my SE in to get the driver's side CV shaft replaced and discovered that the other one was just about to go.

Dammit!!!!!! Murphy you bastard!!!!!!!

Anyway, that means that instead of the good deal I got I am getting an equally good deal, just twice as much. *sigh*

Plus they took pity on me and when I asked about getting the codes pulled off the ECU and having the sensors checked they said they would throw that in for free and clean the PS fluid off my undercarriage while they were at it. (I had a bad PS pressue hose I just fixed.) At least they are good guys.

Anyway, I am going to be doing some bill juggling. And I am going to have to put my Eibachs and Konis off for a month or two now.

Sorry for the off topic rant, just had to get that off my chest at some guys who would understand.

you would just buy ann unpainted one and either paint it yourself or have a shop paint it. The only other thing I can think of is send me a color sample and ill send it down to them and see if they will do it. not promising anything though

end of the auction payment is fine.

I still wouldn't mind having them. Heck, if not just for the looks! But if the remaining pods are still available by next week, I'll go ahead and get one just to keep the ball rolling on this.

Oh, so close... SOOOO close....

Exactly, at this point it's probably best for all those considering buying the pod to place a bid on eBay. Since Kev started the auction we need to put all our attention there instead of here. We need to keep Kev's feedback positive and do all we can to make sure that happens. Remember there might be non board members who will place a bid not knowing anything about our community here and they would like to see the 8 bids to make the auction successful.

Ok, Kev. Thanks to Mike's little "Knute Rockne, do-it-for-the-team" speech, I went and bid on one. I want mine painted grey (or whatever the flock my interior color is...). How close are we?
