I am changing out the bose HU on my max and I am trying to wire my deck w/o a harness. I already replaced the speakers and installed and amp, I just need to know what colors are the ignition, 12 volt battery, and the ground. Any advice or links would be helpful.

 

I still to this day do not understand why people want to cut their factory harness instead of buy a $10 (or cheaper...I think I have seen them at wal mart for $5) adapter harness.

But to answer your question...sorry I dont know the color code BUT if you check here then you can see where your wire is by looking at the harness.

Some were needing this page a week or so ago and I didnt have it on my favorites but told them to search. I said I wouldnt do the search for them but later I had a little free time and wanted to know if the search would find my post with the link and sure enough when I searched I found the link. I am feeling generous so I am providing the link instead of telling you to search lol. of course the only reason I didnt then was because I didnt have it in my favorites and didnt want to do the search for someone else
