i'm pretty sure from what i know that the stock thermo is at 180 Degrees..

My question is do they make a performance one (lower temp) and where do you get it, how much, what temp???

 

call you local parts stores. they often have thermostats of different temps in stock. they do for most cars anyway.

 

Yup its 170, get it! But get one thats a fail safe thermostate (the stock one is). It'll prevent overheating when the thermostate fails.

The failsafe is more expensive, it wont be $10, but more like $30 or something.
