You should buy an ADDCO from www.southwestautoworks.com, you should call since they don't have it on their website, I've heard nothing but awesome things about them. Or you could buy the Suspension techniques sways that I have for like 229.00 from www.Shox.com the only difference between the two is that they ST kit includes the rear and front while the Addco and Progress only sell the rear but the bar they offer is thicker compared to the ST kit. In conclusion buy either Addco or ST since Custom maxima sucks *****

One more thing I forgot to mention, I felt a big difference with the ST kit, I never drove a car with the Addco bar so I would suggest you getting some feedback from them, I know for a fact that Lordrandall has it on his car and he also has a how-to on the installation procedure of an Addco rear bar.

i've heard that the best thing you can do is just get the ST front sway bar w/addco or progress rsb.

anyone know a difference between the addco and progress rsb?

Yes I heard thats the ideal set-up. The difference between the two bars is probably the price, Southwest will sell the Addco for a bit cheaper than custom will.

yeah...it would be much easier and cheaper to order the st front/rear kit from shox.com
i'm sure the st kit is just fine anyways.

It is, but I was about to install an Addco on N34JZ's car but something came up and to tell you the truth its significantly thicker and it looked like it would hit his Greddy piping. Also since the ADDCO is thicker its more prone to break the L brackets. I've had my ST for a year and not one broke nor did I get them welded to be a little stronger.

ok thanks I will get the ST sway. I sorta wanted to stay with ST because I have there springs too and before you guys bust my chops, I know that they give a lot of bounce. It really doesn't matter to me. I love the way my car handles and rides.

I think once I read that they do sell them seperately but I'm not sure where maybe if you do a search you might find the place who does sell them separately.

i dont understand why people prefer the Addco over the ST RSB. i got the ST kit that comes with both the front and rear sway bars. the RSB thickness is the same for both Addco and ST, which is 7/8inch, so i don't know why people say the Addco bar is thicker than the ST bar. i personally like the ST RSB better because it has a little dip for the muffler pipe clearance. the installation was a bit weird but once i got the right instruction sheet faxed over from ST, it was a breeze. and MAN, what a huge difference in handling.

i think either RSB is fine, its just a matter of personal preference.

my 2 cents

The addco is thicker than the ST bar. Thus less understeer. That's why

I've had the opportunity to install both of them and I can clearly tell you that the ADDCO is thicker. Also I agree with the clearance of the ST rear bar, when I was about to install N34JZ's ADDCO it looked like it was going to touch his Greddy piping. I have the ST on my car and it clears the piping perfectly.
