Interior cleaning

I just recently acquired a 93 Nissan Maxima. The interior is dirty as hell.

I just washed and waxed my car+ floor mats and is now shiny. How do I go about cleaning the carpet and the leather? Is there a way to take out the carpet and then just wash them or do I buy 1 of those carpet cleaners and steam them?

I professionally detailed cars for 13 years. Go to the store, Walmart, and pick up Amoural leather cleaner and Turtle wax Interior 1 carpet cleaner, green/yellow can, and you need a wet dry vac, a bucket of water and a stiff scrub brush. Do it right and your carpet will be like new.
Good luck
Jeff

Yes, you probably can rent one, but I do not know where. Besides, for the cost to rent one, you can go to Sears and buy one. They are like $70-$80. Get the 5.0 power, and you'll have an awesome vac for your Max for a long time.
