I'll take pics of the shell before the wrecker takes it away. Any requests? ie.. me in the engine bay looking stupid etc.. hehe. I'm gonna throw the old block in there also. I actually thing the block itself is okay.

Well, it got me drunk and I had no idea what I was doing! I'm so embarrased!

Basicly, varnished up pos engine(from an idiot previous owner) + gunk all over the oil gallies + massive oil usage + low oil level within a few days + no low oil light warning + knocking = thrown rod end cap and schrapnel though the oil pan.

The heads are without the valve/springs/retainers. I sold them. I also broke the cam in half getting the VTC assembly off! hahaha.
When the end cap froze/broke off, it sent a bunch of crap though the oil gallies and ruined one of the main cam support bearing journals. It's not bad but you can see a scratch. And since these don't ride on bearings, I don't know who one would fix them. How do you overbore when there's no undersized/oversized bearing to fit in? Also I don't think these journals can be unbolted.

I just ended up getting another gold one by chance. Given a choice, I'd rather have silver, black, burgandy in that order. But the car was pretty clean and I knew the guy well.
I don't have those particular rims on it anymore. I have 98 Cobra rims on it now for additional clearance purposes.
Thanks for the compliment, it's rare that someone actually says they look nice. LOL!
