ok i have a 1992 GXE, has 144,000 miles on this baby... and the other night i went out to my car started it up, took off, and at about 5000rpm's the engine just cut out entirely... with almost no sound, power steering brakes went shortly after.
I'm thinking it might be the timing belt

Please help my max get better!

 

what happens when you try to start it? I dont think the timing belt has anything to do with brakes but I could be wrong, are you sure it didnt just stall out?

 

Nope it tries to start... just won't turn over..., there was no fluid leaks or anything. it just the engine just died while driving it.

 

not sure, In a few hours the people who know the answers will be on and Im sure thell have a better Idea.
